HK-based Regal Hotels International reopens its doors to Filipino travelers

Regal Hotels International (RHI), one of the largest international hotel brands based in Hong Kong, has kickstarted its campaign to attract more Filipino business and leisure travelers starting June 2023 by opening a regional sales office in the country.
“Regal Hotels has partnered with VFC Travel and Tours as its sole representative in the Philippines.”
The 44-year-old hotel and real estate giant boasts of around 8,200 rooms and around 60 restaurants and bars in its portfolio. In Hong Kong alone, Regal Hotels manages and operates two airport hotels, four luxury hotels, and six iclub or budget hotels.
Of these 12 hotels in Hong Kong, Filipino travelers commonly check in to Regal Hotel’s iclub To Kwa Wan, iClub Mongkok, and Regal Kowloon. (See also: our packages)
RHI’s expansion of regional sales offices (RSO) follows the full recovery and reopening of Hong Kong’s borders to accept international visitors since the COVID-19 pandemic which tightened travel restrictions since 2020.
The Philippines is one of the new RSO of the hotel operator in the region, the others being Korea, Middle East, as well as Singapore & Malaysia.
Reestablished partnership
RHI has partnered with Manila-based VFC Travel and Tours to serve as its sole representative agency in the Philippines.
As RHI’s general sales agent in the country, travel agencies can coordinate with VFC to create exclusive Hong Kong hotel and travel packages.
Established in 2016, VFC is a wholesale tour operator with expertise in crafting competitive hotel rates and tour packages in Hong Kong, Singapore, Dubai, Maldives Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Macau, Thailand and India.
VFC has also worked with Regal Hotels prior to the lockdown in 2020. The agency boasts of over 30 years of experience in the Hong Kong travel industry.
